Speaking & MC

Talks and hosting with real energy.

I'm the person you book when you want the room to feel alive and the day to run on time. Conferences, community gatherings, award nights, panels and brand events.

Formats

Ways to work with me.

  1. 01

    MC and event host

Full-day conferences, gatherings, galas and festivals. I open the day properly, keep the program on time, warm up every speaker and land the close.

  2. 02

    Keynote

Twenty, thirty or forty-five minutes on culture, ambition, belonging and self-expression. Everything comes from my own life and the stories that come out of the group chat.

  3. 03

    Panel and fireside host

I do the reading beforehand, ask the question the audience is thinking, and make sure the quieter panellists get their turn.

  4. 04

    Award nights and fashion shows

I understand cues, show calling and how to keep a room buzzing between categories or looks, because I've produced shows myself.

  5. 05

    Workshops

Ninety-minute and half-day sessions on being yourself at work, the mental load, and building a platform for other people. Hands on and honest.

  6. 06

    Online and hybrid

I record from a proper studio set-up, so online audiences get the same energy without the dead air.

Talks

Six talks I'd love to bring you.

I tailor each one to your audience. Open any of them to see who it's for.

Your authentic self at the J.O.B.

Code-switching, fitting in and what it costs to make yourself smaller at work. What it takes for people of colour, migrants and women to turn up as themselves, and what leaders can change tomorrow.

Good for: corporate conferences, leadership offsites, inclusion programs.

Becoming our own standard of beauty

I went from a fashion blog to a label to founding a runway show. This one is about representation, self-image and dressing for yourself, with the receipts.

Good for: fashion and beauty events, women's networks, creative festivals.

Should we stay or go? Migrant stories in Australia

Home, ambition and the in-between. A frank and funny look at building a life between two cultures, and the decisions nobody warns you about.

Good for: community gatherings, multicultural organisations, universities.

The mental load

The invisible work of running a life, a family and a career at the same time. Practical, honest and useful for the women carrying it and the partners and teams around them.

Good for: women's summits, wellbeing programs, International Women's Day.

Build the stage you wish you'd had

The FreekÀ Runway story. How I turned an idea into a show, put first-time designers on the runway, and kept the platform bigger than me.

Good for: entrepreneurship and creative-industry events, founder programs.

The friendship hustle at our big age

Community, connection and keeping your people close when life gets busy. Warm, practical and very quotable.

Good for: community events, culture-led brands, live podcast shows.

For planners

The practical stuff.

Where are you based, and do you travel?

Melbourne. I travel anywhere in Australia and overseas. Travel and accommodation are itemised in the proposal so there are no surprises.

What do you charge?

It depends on the format, how long I'm on stage, the prep involved and the size of the audience. Put a budget range in the enquiry form and I'll come back with a clear proposal. I have community and not-for-profit rates.

How much notice do you need?

Four to six weeks is ideal for a keynote. MC bookings can usually be confirmed faster. If it's short notice, ask anyway.

What do you need on the day?

A run sheet, a briefing call the week before, a lapel or handheld mic, and a confidence monitor for longer programs. I'll send headshots, a bio and an intro script well ahead of time.

Do you do online events?

Yes. I run online and hybrid sessions from a studio set-up with proper audio.
